Hey Outlaws,

Let’s be real. Running your business by yourself is no joke. You’re doing everything and trying not to lose your mind. But guess what? AI is here to make your life way easier (and make you look like a pro).

You don’t need photoshop, fancy filters, or a degree in design to make eye-catching visuals anymore. Ai tools are changing the game. If you’re not using them yet, you’re sleeping on a goldmine.

🧠5 tips to help with AI images

1. Use Simple, Specific Prompts

🛑Skip the vague stuff like “make something cool”

🟢Try: “A rustic bakery with pumpkins outside, cozy lights, and fall trees, ultra-realistic, golden hour lighting”

2. Add Style Keywords

Want it to look like a photo? Say “photorealistic.” Want it painted? Try “Oil painting” or “watercolor style”.

3. Think about Lighting

Use phrases like “soft lighting,” “glowing sunset,” or “dramatic shadows” to set the mood. Light makes or breaks the vibe.

4. Use Reference words

Drop in terms like “1950’s diner,” “Hallmark movie,” or “fixer upper style".” AI tools love pop culture references.

5. Describe the Setting and Vibe

Is it moody? Cozy? Industrial? Magical? Those objectives will help AI tools paint the right picture. Literally.

🛠️AI Tool Spotlight: Midjourney

Midjourney is a paid AI image generator that turns plain ol’ words into stunning art. Want a photo of your biz that lit up at golden hour with fall leaves? Just type it. Want a cowboy riding a giant corndog? Midjourney’s got you.

Why it’s Outlaw approved: It looks way better than most AI tools, and you don’t need to be a designer. Run it through Discord, and boom. Beautiful, scroll-stopping content in minutes. Use it for social media posts, website graphics, flyers, whatever you need.

Art isn’t about being perfect. It’s about playing with ideas until something clicks. Don't overthink it. Try, tweak, repeat.

‼️Quick Prompt of the Week

Try this free prompt with mid journey or any other AI image generator:

“A cozy small town coffee shop at sunset, string lights that are glowing across the buildings, fall leaves blowing in the back, painted in warm golden tones, ultra realistic.”

Steal it. Tweak it. Use it for your next promo.

📝 AI in the News

🖌️DALL·E 3 now lets you edit images inside ChatGPT

Paid users of ChatGPT can now generate images with DALL·E 3 and then edit specific parts of those images via natural-language-prompts. All within the same interface. For example, you can generate a dog with a bow, then tell the tool “make its ears longer” or “change the bow to red.”

🤠Outlaws POV: This is big for AI image generation. Instead of accepting an image that’s just “good enough,” you can tweak it until it’s right. Want to change the color of your coffee shop, or swap out the color of the background for fall leaves? You can. No designer. Less headache. More brand-look.

🖼️Midjourney V6 (and V6.1) brings major upgrades to visuals

Midjourney released version 6 (and 6.1) of its image-generation model. It boasts better prompt understanding, finer details (faces, hands, realism), and more control of lighting and style.

🤠Outlaws POV: What this means for you? You can finally stop messing with janky AI images that look fake. You’ll get visuals of your business. Warm, real, and stylish. Use these for social media posts, flyers, and website hero images. It’s about standing out in a small-town marketplace.

⭐️Reader Spotlight

In last weeks issue, we had asked what everyone was struggling with when it comes to marketing and AI. A common issue that we have seen is that “It’s too vague” which equals crappy results, or “it doesn’t sound like me.”

One of the really cool things about AI is that you can train it. Yes, almost like a dog. A lot of folks will type things like “Make a cool flyer for…” and expect it to know what you want. AI isn’t magic. It’s more like a mirror. Garbage in = garbage out. Tell it who you are, what you sell, what tone to use, and what the goal is.

AI writes like a boring robot… or worse… corporate fluff. Lucky for you that’s easily fixable. Train it to copy your tone. Give it examples of how you talk. Include phrases you’d actually say. Make it bold, sassy, friendly. Whatever fits you and your brand. You gotta teach it to “speak outlaw."
